In February 2003, we contacted Mrs. Brenda Carroll to inquire about a space at the Development Authority Incubator to start our cabinet business.  She took it to the board and they agreed to allow us to start up using two of the classroom spaces in the back of the building.  We opened our business March 01, 2003. We specialize in building custom furniture, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, mantles, entertainment centers, desks, conference tables and bedroom furniture. As space got tighter for us to build and store cabinets, we contacted the board again about providing a larger space for our operation.  They graciously accommodated us by allowing us to move from the backside of the building to the front of the building which was formerly the old lunchroom/auditorium area.  This has meet our needs just fine. We are so grateful for the Development Authority being a God sent, and a life line for us and our business. After the housing market crashed in 2008, we fell on hard times with very little work available for us, so we had to ask for adjustments to our rent from the Crawford County Development Authority.  The board members assessed our dilemma and worked with us to adjust our monthly rent to a manageable rate until we could afford to pay the appropriate rent cost, several months later. We thank God for the Development Authority being here for people needing a place to operate their businesses and for helping us get started.  Not only are we grateful for this being a place for our business, but for the authority members that worked with us during such a critical time while some other businesses had to close up shop during those lean times. Again we thank you and appreciate the Crawford County Development Authority for all the years thus far!

From our very first phone call and meeting, the Development Authority and Crawford County have been responsive and professional and have demonstrated to us that Crawford County is a good place to invest and do business.
