The Crawford County Development Authority is pleased to welcome Stacy Ladson as Crawford County’s first Economic Development Director. After an extensive search, the Development Authority Board of Directors selected Ms. Ladson from among a number of qualified candidates and is excited to have her join the local team working towards the growth and development of Crawford County.
Ms. Ladson comes to the Development Authority most recently from the City of Forsyth, where she was the Assistant to Main Street and the Downtown Development Authority. In her new duties as Economic Development Director in Crawford County, Ms. Ladson will be working local officials and developing external partnerships to both encourage the location of new industries and foster the retention and expansion of existing businesses in the county. Ms. Ladson will be the primary contact for new and prospective industries interested in learning more about locating in Crawford County.
Ms. Ladson is a lifelong resident of Crawford County and a graduate of Crawford County High School. She graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia with at Bachelor of Science in Rural Studies, specializing in Business and Economic Development. She is also a graduate of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development. Ms. Ladson will be joining the Development Authority on a full-time basis on April 1, 2015.
